In 1992 Tony set up his first business as a sole trader under the name of A M Services. As the business grew, he took on a partner and eventually sold the business to him. This gave Tony the opportunity to set up another company, T M Appliance Services, which he ran as a sole trader until 2012 when it became a Limited Company under the name of T M Appliance Services Limited (company registration number : 7913027).

We have the knowledge and expertise to service, repair and install numerous makes and models of appliance and will go the extra mile to find a solution to any domestic appliance problem.

I am experienced with domestic, commercial and industrial appliances as well as machinery and plant including dry cleaning plant and high pressure boilers.

After leaving full time education in 1977, I spent several years working for large domestic appliance retailers / repair agents. I served my apprenticeship with 71 Domestic Appliances Ltd (Zanussi) and gained further hands-on experience with Mastercare, Comet and Allsop & Francis Ltd (commercial laundry).

I have undertaken comprehensive training and attained extensive knowledge in all aspects of electrical mechanical and electronic equipment. More recently, I have attended training courses relating to LG, Panasonic and Beaumatic appliances.

In addition to above, I have worked on pipe work (steam and gas), plumbing, re-wiring of domestic premises, 3-phase work to machinery, switch gear, motors, fire and security systems. This involves an understanding of electronics, computers and telecommunications as well as wiring and good safety knowledge.

I am a Gas Safe engineer (registered number : 529276 ) now specialising in the repair / servicing of both gas and electric domestic appliances (white goods). I am also responsible for sales of new appliances.

My leisure pursuits include playing snooker, badminton, tennis and on very rare occasions, archery.

I am an experienced Secretary / Co-Ordinator with commercial experience of international new business.

After leaving college, I spent ten years working for a large firm of Solicitors gaining experience in many aspects of legal work including litigation, conveyancing and probate. Then a new door opened, offering me the opportunity for a career change. I joined one of the largest worldwide banking corporations, working within their associated Invoice Finance organisation.

I have a proven track record in communicating with customers and clients and this together with an ability to prioritise workloads is key to success in my current role as Office Manager. My responsibilities include handling both customer and supplier enquiries, day to day management of the office as well as mentoring staff.

My main leisure activity is spending time at our holiday home in Hampshire where the children finally get all of my attention !

HAYLEY TOMLINSON

After studying media arts and marketing at college I worked in the busy marketing department for a large national kitchen manufacturer before changing direction to work as Sales Account Manager for a corporate gift and incentive company. There I was responsible for sourcing and supplying blue chip clients with branded corporate merchandise such as printed pens and embroidered uniforms. I project managed my clients requirements from providing quotations through to order completion, this was a challenging role as the choices available to clients could be vast and customers demands would constantly keep me on my toes!

I went on to work at the local town council assisting the events team, museum and front reception in a variety of customer service and administrative tasks. After having my second daughter I took time out to be a full time mum which has been really enjoyable but since Ruby started school I found I missed the workplace.

Having previously utilised the services of T M Appliance Services and seen first hand the care and attention given to their customers, when the opportunity arose to work for the company, I was delighted and haven't looked back since.

My two daughters keep me busy in most of my spare time but when I am not running around for them I enjoy keeping fit in my home gym, going to my local pub and the occasional guilty pleasure of retail therapy.

CHARLEY

Charley is part of the T M Appliance Services family.

She is a soft and fluffy Cavachon (cross between a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Bichon Frise) and was born in June 2013. She is very friendly with a loving temperament although can be cheeky at times.

She is owned by Tony and Sandra and spends her days with the Office Admin Team. She loves being cuddled which is great for anyone having a challenging day !
